The canopy cabin is our premium cabin range for entrances where the cabin is on show. It does the same job as a standard security hut — a dry, well-lit post with a clear view of the entrance — but it is dressed for modern architecture: stone-effect cladding, an architectural canopy roof with lights, and wide windows.
Choose it for a hotel forecourt, an office or business park entrance, a residential development's concierge point, a retail park, a campus or a venue — anywhere a plain white hut would look temporary next to the building.
The same cabin works three ways: as a premium security cabin for guards, as a reception kiosk where visitors sign in and deliveries are received, or as a ticket and retail kiosk with a serving window.

Every price below is ex works, + VAT. Delivery by crane lorry is quoted for your postcode in your written quote. Add any size to your quote basket and send an inquiry.

Pick the size from the job the cabin does and how many people staff it at the busiest time of day.
Then think about the view from inside. A reception kiosk works best with its main window facing the path or approach road, so staff see visitors before they reach the glass. A security post needs a clear line to the barrier and the gate. Mark both on your site plan and we draw the window and door positions to suit.

Both are architectural gatehouse ranges, in the same five footprints and 2.75 m high. The canopy cabin costs less size for size and has a warmer, stone-like finish that sits well beside brick and stone. The composite gatehouse uses aluminium composite panels for a sharper, corporate look that suits glass and metal-clad buildings.
The composite gatehouse is covered on our security gatehouse page. For a plainer, lower-cost post, see security huts or GRP kiosk cabins.

Canopy cabins leave the factory glazed and wired, with the canopy lights included. You choose door and window positions on the drawing we send with your written quote.

Canopy cabins weigh 700–1,400 kg and travel assembled on a lorry with its own crane (HIAB), which lifts the cabin straight onto your base. Allow clear access for the lorry and no overhead cables near the lift.
The base must be firm and level; a concrete slab is best for the heavier sizes. An electrician then connects the incoming supply to the consumer unit.
If the new cabin replaces an old hut, the old base can often be reused when it is sound, level and large enough for the new footprint. Send us a photo and its measurements with your inquiry and we check it for you.
A canopy cabin usually stands at a front entrance, in view of the street, and is meant to stay. That is exactly when planning permission can apply, so check with your local council early — we can supply drawings for the application.
Our products are used in over 140 countries. Production is ISO 9001:2015 and CE certified, and every canopy cabin has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing and assembly faults.
GRP cabins and kiosks are popular at stadium entrances, car parks and bus depots. For historic streets we also build a heritage kiosk with a classic cornice and panelling — price on request.

A small staffed building at an entrance where visitors sign in, drivers report and parcels are received. The 2.15 × 2.65 m canopy cabin is our reception kiosk size.
Yes. It is a lockable, glazed and lit cabin like our standard security huts, with a more architectural finish. The 2.15 × 2.15 m size takes two guards.
The canopy cabin has stone-effect cladding and a canopy roof with lights; the composite gatehouse has aluminium composite cladding and a flat canopy roof. The canopy cabin costs less in every size.
700 kg for the smallest size and 1,400 kg for the largest, so it needs a firm, level base — ideally a concrete slab.
Assembled, on a lorry with its own crane that lifts it onto your base.
Yes. With a serving window they work as ticket, information or retail kiosks — see outdoor retail kiosks and ticket booths.
A permanent cabin at a front entrance may. Check with your local council; we can supply drawings for an application.
