A bulletproof cabin is a guard post built to protect the person inside from gunfire. Ours are built from armoured steel and armoured glazing to the BR7 protection level, in eight standard sizes. For lower-risk sites, our standard security cabins cost a fraction of the price.
Strictly, no building is proof against everything, which is why engineers say bullet resistant and talk in ratings. The BR classes come from EN 1063, the European test standard for bullet-resistant glazing. They run from BR1 to BR7, and BR7 is the highest: it is tested against rifle rounds with a hardened steel core. We confirm the specification of the glazing, walls and door for your cabin in your written quote.
An armoured cabin — also called a ballistic security booth or a bullet-resistant guard booth — looks much like an ordinary security hut, but it is a different product: heavier, built to order and priced for the protection it gives. It is the right choice when the risk assessment for a post says a standard hut is not enough. Typical sites include:

Every size is priced online. Prices are ex works, + VAT, for a cabin built to BR7. The price rises with the footprint because each larger size needs more armoured steel and glazing. Delivery and craneage depend on the weight and your postcode, so we quote them in your written quote.
For scale: a standard GRP security hut with the same 1.5 × 1.5 m footprint costs £3,890 + VAT. The difference is the armour. Add any size to your quote basket and send an inquiry.

There are eight standard sizes, all 3.00 m high. Choose by how many people are inside, what they do and whether the cabin sits between traffic lanes.
The pictures on this page are technical drawings and renders of the range. Your written quote comes with a drawing of your own cabin, with door and window positions marked, so your security team can check sightlines before anything is built.
Before you choose, walk the post with whoever wrote the risk assessment. Note where vehicles and people approach, where the barrier, lights and cameras are, which sides the guard must see and which way the door should open. Those notes are what we turn into your drawing.

Inside, an armoured cabin is fitted out like any guard post, but every opening and cable route is planned around the armour. A hole drilled on site would weaken it, so we agree the layout with you before production.
Guards may spend a full shift behind closed armoured windows, so heating, cooling and fresh air matter more than in an ordinary hut. We size them with you for the cabin and the shift pattern.
An armoured cabin is heavy: 3,000 kg for the smallest size and 10,500 kg for the largest. That weight decides the lift and the base, so we plan both with you when we quote, including whether the lorry's own crane (HIAB) can make the lift at your site or a separate mobile crane is needed.
Plan the lift early. The lorry needs a firm standing area close to the base, clear of overhead cables, and the heavier the cabin, the closer the crane must get. If the post is behind a gate, kerb or wall, tell us in your inquiry and we plan the route with you.
The base should be a level reinforced concrete slab designed for the load. Your engineer or groundworker sizes it from the weight and footprint on our drawing, and the cabin is then fixed down. An electrician connects the incoming supply.
Every bulletproof cabin is built to order, so we confirm the lead time for your size and specification in your written quote. A permanent cabin at a site entrance can need planning permission; check with your local council — we can supply drawings for the application.

Our products are used in over 140 countries.
Production is ISO 9001:2015 and CE certified, and every cabin has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing and assembly faults. For sites that need a strong entrance without armour, compare security gatehouses and access control booths.

From £39,900 + VAT for a 1.5 × 1.5 m BR7 cabin to £84,900 + VAT for the largest 3 × 5 m size. Delivery and craneage are quoted by postcode.
BR7 is the highest of the BR classes in EN 1063, the European test standard for bullet-resistant glazing, and is tested against rifle rounds with a hardened steel core. The lower classes cover handguns and lighter rifle rounds. We confirm the specification of your cabin's glazing, walls and door in your written quote.
No glass or steel stops everything, which is why the correct term is bullet resistant. Tell us the threat your risk assessment plans for and we confirm the specification in your written quote.
Between 3,000 kg for the 1.5 × 1.5 m size and 10,500 kg for the 3 × 5 m size. The weight decides the crane and the base, so we plan both with you.

Tell us what the post needs — heating or air conditioning, lighting, sockets, cable entries for CCTV and barrier controls — and we confirm in your written quote what can be built in. Everything is planned into the layout before production, because the armour should not be drilled on site.
